Beginner training plan
Your first lessonAny first lesson will start with a mobility assessment to ensure safety during the lesson. Students sense of skill and ability will be assessed next to determine a starting point .
We will start with Basic dinking exchanges practicing the IPTPA methods.
Lesson 2-3Once a basic Dink shot has been established we will move on to the longer midcourt and baseline shots. Introducing the volley and drops shots.
Lesson 4-10Court movement for doubles will be introduced .
Rules of the game will be placed into the lessons and drills . Drills will now include resets and 7-11 .
Lesson 11+Game play will be a mainstay of time together. Including Skinny singles style games .
What you need to bringStudents should bring tennis or court shoes in good condition and some fluids to maintain hydration.
What I can bringI do have a wide selections of Paddles to try during lessons .
