## Reviews

> That lesson gave me a really good real experience, and I feel like I understood things quite well. Max's approach is pretty relaxed but insightful, and I appreciated the focus on practical skills. Though I still need to learn lobs and improve my movement up to the kitchen, I think with more practice I'll get there. Still, it was helpful to get a sense of how to approach those aspects in actual play, and I’m hopeful about the progress ahead. If you're into pickleball and want a grounded, honest lesson, I’d say it’s worth trying Max.

> Max was geat. I had played tennis in high school, but basically nothing for over 50 years. Prior to Max, I had one group lesson, but it wasn’t enough to learn the very basics. With Max, my confidence greatly improved. I’m going to try another open play before another lesson. I have several great takeaways, including crouching more and keeping my arm straight, and striking the ball in the middle of the paddle. Max was very encouraging and convinced me I could advance to the intermediate level with some good guidance.

> Max had been a wonderful coach and I would recommend him to anyone who is brand new to pickleball as well as anyone who’s looking to improve their game. I am the former and Max has taken the time to explain the game and patiently watched me miss balls or make other errors and he’s always shown encouragement, As Max said “The game is called Pickleball. It was meant to be fun,”

> Max was able to provide a well rounded overview of pickle ball in our hour session. I believe I could walk into an open game and not embarrass myself too bad. However, I plan to continue lessons with Max. I would prefer having some more lessons before I go out on my own, His enjoyment of the game is contagious and he’s a great instructor .

> The lesson with Max really helped improve my dinking and overheads, and I also focused on my footwork which was pretty helpful. Still, I think adding more power to my game would make a big difference, so I’m hoping to work on that in future lessons. It’s encouraging to see progress though, and I’ll definitely try to build on what we covered.

> The lesson was quite helpful overall, especially with my kitchen game, though I think dropping shots and moving up faster are areas I still need to work on. Max’s teaching approach was calm and practical, making the lesson engaging without feeling rushed. If you're looking to refine specific skills like those, I’d suggest giving Max a try.

> Max is a great teacher. He adapts the way he teaches to how his clients learn best. I for instance like to tell him what I remembered from our last session and then he can correct me if I get something wrong. I love that he is always encouraging and making sure I am comfortable with what we are doing before we move on to anything new.

> I really appreciated Max’s patience, positivity, and kindness during the lesson. It was encouraging to receive corrections while feeling comfortable and supported in my learning. His approach makes improving skills enjoyable. If you’re looking for a coach who makes the game fun and uplifting, Max is definitely someone to try out. 👋
