My journey in pickleball includes notable achievements such as winning Silver in the US Open 2021 (men's 3.5 doubles, 30+ category), a testament to my skill and passion for the sport. In 2014, I played a pivotal role in launching the pickleball program in Naperville, IL, laying the foundation for a thriving pickleball community. Since then, I've been sharing my knowledge and love for pickleball through teaching, dedicating myself to helping others improve their game. Mike helped me think about many parts of my game, for example, positioning, serving, when to drive, when to dink, where to dink, etc. He also helped me to understand the ‘why’ behind making certain changes to my approach. I am now more confident in my game and am playing better each time.

Mike provided a very useful hour of play and instruction. This was my second lesson. I continued to learn the rules, practicing different types of strokes. Mike makes me laugh and we have fun. Mike challenges me during the entire lesson.

What you need to bringCourt shoes, not running shoes. Your favorite pickleball paddle; but I will also have extra paddles if needed. I will supply the pickleballs. Hat, sunscreen, gloves, and sweatbands (as preferred). Some type of hydration. A fun attitude. I also have a ball machine, but we may or may not choose to use this.
