I reached out to Michael Pham through the MyDUPR app when they were offering free DUPR coach assessment ratings. Michael was very responsive and was willing to meet in person for a combination assessment/coaching session at a very reasonable rate. I've been attending Pickleball clinics over the past four months but there were some aspects of the game I haven't been able to work on effectively. We ended up going over how to approach Resets from different spots on the court as well as fixed a few technique issues to reduce pop-ups during dinking. It was an effective use of my time, thanks to his positive approach to the game.

Michael is a great coach. Throughout the session we went over a variety of skill from drop to resets. He meticulously explain how to perform the technique from the footwork to the position of the paddle. Providing a variety of scenarios when to use what skill. Overall really positive experience, he was encouraging and patient.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst lesson will be a quick assessment on your skills and followed with basic rules and techniques.
We shall focus on fundamental skills like grip, stance, and basic strokes.
Lesson 11+Once the basics are on we shall refine and level up your individual skills. We can move into the advanced drills if applicable. Lobs, erne, atp, and advanced strategies.
Lesson 4-10Depending where your at we shall continue with focus to either serve, return, resets, volley, forehand or backhand drives, counters, overheads, and others.
This will focus more on placement and accuracy.
Lesson 2-3We continue with the basics along with the reasoning behind it. We will work on serve, return, basic forehand and backhand strokes. Court positioning to get you started.
Youth players
Working with kidsMake it fun and engaging. Fun drill games.
Working with teenagersFocus on their strengths and weaknesses and improve upon them.
