Originally from Rhode Island, I discovered my passion for racket sports early on and made the bold move to Hilton Head Island during high school to train at the Smith Stearns tennis academy. I went on to attend Sewanee: The University of the South, where I was a standout player, helping lead the women’s tennis team to a top-10 national ranking in Division III. After graduating in 2022, I pursued a career in nursing, but a new passion quickly took hold when my mom introduced me to pickleball. What began as a casual game turned into a full-blown obsession—I started competing in 5.0+ tournaments, racking up wins and eventually qualifying for a professional women’s doubles event. With two years of teaching experience and a PPR certification under my belt, I am now shifting my focus to the pro circuit, aiming to make my mark in the world of competitive pickleball. I’ve been coaching pickleball for two years, and if there’s one thing I know, it’s that learning works best when you’re having a blast. I bring energy, laughs, and plenty of real life knowledge to every lesson—whether we’re mastering the third shot drop or leveling up your net game. I love helping players of all levels get better, play smarter, and enjoy every minute on the court. Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn our first lesson, we’ll start by going over the different areas of the court— especially the rules of the infamous ‘kitchen’ zone. Then, we will move on to how to properly hold the paddle and the basic techniques for all the key shots in pickleball. We’ll spend time practicing those techniques, and in the final few minutes, we’ll cover the rules of play and how to keep score during a game.
Lesson 4-10As you continue with more lessons and practice, we’ll start focusing on building points and developing smart shot selection habits. We’ll introduce common patterns found in pickleball and begin adding spin and variety to your shots. These sessions will primarily consist of live drills, where we’ll rally back and forth to reinforce techniques and game awareness.
Lesson 2-3In our second-third lesson, we’ll focus on building consistency and helping you feel more comfortable in all areas of the court. We,kk also take time to work on any specific areas you feel need improvement. As always, we’ll wrap up the session with a short game to put what you’ve learned into practice.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonAs an advanced player, we’ll begin each lesson with a warm-up while I assess your strokes and footwork. From there, we’ll make adjustments to any areas that could benefit from refinement, while also focusing on the specific aspects you’d like to improve. We’ll incorporate a mix of targeted drills and game play to keep the lessons both effective and enjoyable.
Lesson 4-10In the next set of lessons, we’ll focus on shot selection and pattern control, with an emphasis on footwork and reading your opponent— knowing how to respond based on their positioning and shot choices. Throughout, we’ll continue to prioritize consistency and smart point construction to elevate your overall game.
Youth players

I also prioritize making lessons fun by including competitive games.
