I have some knee and hip issues that have impeded me in both doubles and singles in the past. Nathan helped me work on my positioning and even stretches that seem to be really helping! I’m only three sessions in and can’t wait to see where I’m at by session ten

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI like to meet my students where they are in their experience level. We first identify your goals as a player. We will asses what you view as your strengths and weaknesses. Be it one thing or all aspects of game play, we will focus on the fundamentals of we identify
Lesson 11+These final lessons will be seeing how everything comes together. Addressing any practices you’d like to continue beyond the lessons and making sure that these new skills not only allow you to preform better, but also feel better before and after game play
Lesson 4-10When one thing changes, often other things follow. With these new skills developing, we will start to play more and see what needs adjusting and what new weak points may arise We’ll also go through injury prevention, stretches, and recovery on the whole to keep you playing the game we both love
Lesson 2-3We will expose the scenarios that these weak points arise in game play and help you to both avoid them, and be prepared when they arise

Youth players
Working with kidsI follow a similar rubric for teaching young athletes as I do older, but I especially stress the enjoyment of the game. Regardless of why you started playing, having fun will keep you playing longer and engage your growth more than any “skill” can. We will highlight the value of playing with integrity and honesty, and draw parallels between player and personal development

Working with teenagersWith teenage players we focus on how to get from where they are to where they’d like to be. And how to do so with a longevity lens. We cover how to use they’re current size and strength to an advantage, and how to recover after game play to avoid injury

What you need to bringYou should bring shoes that are comfortable and supportive, water, your preferred pickleball paddle, and though I will provide balls, the more balls the better

What I can bringAgility cones, zone chalk, beginner paddles and training paddles, balls
