Learn Pickleball with Patrick

πŸ’°$31 weekly lessons

Hey friends, I have played racket sports most of my life. Pickleball has been a more recent adventure, although I play 10-20 hrs a week and I teach beginner pickleball at the Owosso YMCA. My training in martial arts, body work, physical fitness and nutrition have taught me how to move with ease, power and control. If you are new to pickleball or looking for some skills training I have the tools and experience to support the growth you seek.

Youth players
Working with kidsDepending on the young person's comfort with paddle sports, we begin with footwork and ability to hit the ball. Keep it light, keep it fun, lots of games to improve hand eye coordination and mobility. A good bit of light conditioning to teach the body how to move without needing thought. Start learning to use both hands as this will support there growth in many areas of the game and life.

Working with teenagersdepending on the young person's ability we woke to enhance mobility, conditioning, reflexes, hand eye coordination, using both hands. This will lead us into more game play and the adult pickelball routines

What you need to bringPaddle if you have one, water.

What I can bringPaddle, official pickelballs.
