Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIf it is your first time playing. I will learn you the basics of the game, including the rules, scoring, and essential equipment. We'll also focus on fundamental skills like grip, stance, and basic strokes to get you started on the right foot.
Lesson 11+Finally we'll put your skills to the test with guided game play, incorporating all the techniques and strategies you've learned.
We'll also introduce you to advanced shots like lobs and spins, and fine-tune your overall game performance to prepare you
for competitive play.
I'll also connect you with familiar clubs and courts. Send videos on how to improve!!
Lesson 4-10Now we'll focus on improving your shot accuracy and placement while learning key strategies for both singles and doubles play.
We'll work on your volleys, dinks, and game tactics to increase your confidence and effectiveness on the court.
Lesson 2-3Next we'll build on your initial skills by refining your forehand and backhand strokes, and start practicing consistent serves. We'll also introduce you to court positioning and basic footwork to enhance your game play.
Youth players
Working with kidsWhen teaching kids, I adapt my lessons to be fun and engaging, using games and activities that make learning enjoyable. I focus on building a strong foundation in the basics while incorporating age-appropriate drills and exercises that keep their interest and energy levels high. Patience and encouragement are key, as I strive to create a positive and supportive environment where young players feel confident and excited to learn.
Working with teenagersWhen teaching teenagers, I adapt my lessons to balance skill development with the social and competitive aspects that appeal to this age group. l incorporate advanced drills and techniques while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment that encourages teamwork and peer learning. By focusing on both physical fitness and strategic thinking, I help teens develop their skills and confidence, preparing them for competitive play and personal growth in the sport.
