Beginner training plan
Your first lessonBasic training drills to assess students passing, shooting, ball handling/dribbling, and conditioning.
Lesson 11+We will fine tune technical skills on and off the field as well as delve into more advanced teachings such as understanding one’s position, field rotations, and how to set the pace of the game with in depth movements on and off the ball.
Lesson 4-10We will work on dribbling, technical skills, when to pass vs when to dribble and conditioning. We will also work on the fundamentals of shooting the ball and where to place shots depending on field position. We will work on shooting techniques and what type of shot to use in different on the field situations.
Lesson 2-3We will work on the fundamentals of passing the ball, receiving a pass, work on finding open players for passes.
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonThe first lesson will include basic drills of passing, shooting, defending, and conditioning to address players strengths and weaknesses.
Lesson 11+We will fine tune on previous lessons and use set skills to focus on leadership on and off the field. We will work on setting the pace of the game (speeding up or slowing down gameplay.) We will work on creating advantages and opportunities on a positional level as well as how to stand out and get noticed my coaches and scouts.
Lesson 4-10These lessons will focus on maintaining conditioning along with growing the players agility and ability to assess/react to situations both offensively and defensively on and off the ball. We will focus on field rotations, the importance of position and knowing your role on the field, and how to take advantage of position to create opportunities for the players team. We will also focus more into passing, ball control, shooting, defensive positioning, and ball settling.
Lesson 2-3These lessons will focus on dribbling, technical skills, moves and when to use them/using them to create space, and using said space to create shot/passing opportunities. There will be conditioning in these practices as well.
Youth players
Working with kidsI adapt my lessons with kids by allowing an open and fun experience while also working and growing and expanding the child’s skills and experiences. I am patient and have experience teaching kids while also making sure they are having fun. Soccer at the end of the day is a game, and the point is to get better and be competitive while being able to keep things light hearted and fun. I have coached kids before and gotten positive feedback on my coaching techniques as well as had parents let me know they would definitely be returning if I was the coach.
Working with teenagersI adapt my lessons to teenagers by being able to add a competitive spin that pushes teenagers to focus on improving and growing while also keeping things fun. These lessons will be more in depth and more skill focused by offering more complex drills as well as more complex trainings to grow the players technical abilities, passing, defending, and on the field vision/importance of positioning on and off the ball.
What you need to bringStudents should bring soccer cleats, shin guards, a water bottle, and of course, a great mentality and willingness to learn and grow!
What I can bringAs the trainer I will provide cones, balls, small portable goals, and any other equipment needed for conditioning depending on the needs of who I train.
