My name is Nicholas Eldridge and I’ve played soccer from 4 years old to today. I played professionally for two years while going to college before injuries forced me to begin coaching full time. I’ve coached professionally for over 17 years now and have had a hand in helping kids from grass roots to professional athletes realize their Soccer goals and dreams. Beginner training plan
Your first trainingDuring our first session I will introduce myself and interview the player to try and get a feel for experience level. We will do a basic on field evaluation of current skills and ability. We will end the session by talking about and setting our goals for the future.
Training 2-3During the first few sessions we will build rapport and understanding between coach and player(s). We will also look to establish what it means to train well and with focus as we begin to work on improving towards our most immediate goals.
Training 4-10In this phase we will begin to broaden our understanding of the game and how it relates to us as an individual. We will begin to explore how we take our individual skills and apply them within the actual game.
Training 11+We will mock up game scenarios and work on decision making and execution of tactics techniques and strategies .
Advanced training plan
Your first trainingIntroductions and Evaluation of current ability and goal setting.
Training 2-3Build rapport and understanding between parties.
Training 4-10Depending on what our goals are, we will begin to specialize training to meet those set goals. And build understanding of how what we are doing as an individual relates to our teammates.

Working with kidsPatience and a big heart are key. Sometimes you need to slow the lesson down to make sure it’s being absorbed and understood fully. During youth lessons it’s important to have elements of consistency but also a little bit of variability.

Coach Nick changed my life! I’ve always been a good player but Coach Nick showed me how much more I could improve. He has changed how I prepare for shots and my technique for intercepting flighted balls. I have also noticed I’m much stronger overall but especially in the air coming out for crosses.
