My main position was outfield, but I have experience all over the diamond! I was also a slap hitter! I played all throughout high school and also on some elite travel ball teams and would love to help take your daughters softball skills to the next level!

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFor your first lesson, we would start with stretching and a brief warm-up. Next, we would start with proper throwing technique, followed by proper fielding technique for both infield and outfield. Finish the lesson with hitting into the net off the tee! This lesson is more of an introductory so your child can become more familiar with the sport!
Lesson 11+Lessons 11+ would be about refining your child’s softball skills in a way that helps them achieve the goals they have set for themselves!
Lesson 4-10During lesson 4, we would focus mostly on hitting and I would introduce base running, sliding, and hitting off a live pitcher. Lessons 5-10 would be a combination of hitting, fielding, throwing, and base running.
Lesson 2-3For lessons 2 and 3, we would focus mostly on throwing and fielding. Making sure your child has proper throwing technique and proper fielding technique

Youth players
Working with kidsWhen teaching kids, I would make my lessons
more fun and exciting, while also making sure they’re doing the exercises correctly. At this level, I focus strongly on mastering the basics of their position(s). From working with children as my main job, I have come to realize that patience and positive encouragement is key at this age and I always strive to create a supportive atmosphere where young players feel confident to learn!
Working with teenagersWhen teaching teens, I aim to strike a balance between skill development and the competitive spirit that’s so appealing to this age group. I’d introduce advanced drills and techniques, but I also make sure to create a supportive environment that encourages teamwork and independence. I let her decide what skills she wants to work on, so she can feel empowered and motivated. By focusing on both physical fitness and critical thinking, I can help teens develop their skills and confidence, preparing them for competitive play and personal growth in the sport.
