Beginner training plan

Your first lesson1. Get to Know the Player: Be friendly, ask about their goals, and make them comfortable. 2. See What They Can Do: Check their throwing, catching, hitting, and fielding skills. 3. Teach the Basics: Explain and show the right way to throw, catch, hit, and field. 4. Be Positive: Give lots of encouragement and focus on getting better. 5. Set Goals: Plan what to work on in future lessons. 6. Give Homework: Tell them what to practice before the next lesson.

Lesson 11+From the 11th softball lesson onward, expect to focus on advanced strategies, specialized skills, and competitive gameplay. You'll likely work on advanced techniques, refine position-specific skills, and engage in more intense scrimmages and game simulations.

Lesson 4-10Between the 4th and 10th softball lessons, expect to refine your skills, build consistency, and deepen your understanding of the game. You'll likely work on more advanced techniques, game strategies, and specialized positions, with increased intensity and complexity in drills and simulations.

Advanced training plan

Your first lessonFocusing on assessment, goal setting, and personalized planning. Start by evaluating the player's strengths and weaknesses, discussing their goals, and developing a tailored plan to address specific areas for improvement.

Lesson 11+From lesson 11 onward, the player should expect to focus on advanced strategies, specialized skills, and competitive gameplay, with an emphasis on refining techniques, mastering position-specific skills, and engaging in intense scrimmages and game simulations.

Lesson 4-10Between the 4th and 10th lessons, the player should expect to refine advanced skills, work on consistency, and deepen their understanding of game strategy through focused drills, simulations, and personalized feedback.

Lesson 2-3In the second and third lessons, the player should expect focused training on identified areas for improvement, more advanced drills and techniques, and the introduction of personalized strategies to elevate their game.

Youth players

Working with kids1. Simplify Instructions: Use simple language and break down complex skills into smaller, manageable steps. Visual demonstrations are helpful. 2. Make it Fun: Incorporate games and activities that make learning enjoyable. For example, use relay races to practice base running or target games to improve throwing accuracy. 3.
