About your swimming coach

I am a 33 year old mom of two! I was certified as a Water Safety and Survival Instructor shortly after a family tragedy propelled me into this field. Child drownings happen too often and it’s a tragedy I want no one to bare. It’s my goal to teach as many children as I possibly can to be safe in the water environment and prevent pediatric drownings. Lessons are taught privately 1:1 at the comfort of your own home. I travel to you!

➕Water Safety & Survival
Beginner training plan
Your first lessonWe work on getting comfortable in the water together and bonding! We always practice floating every lesson and many can float on their own after just 1 lesson!
Lesson 11+Ages 3+ are usually working towards strokes development by this point. Every child is different and we go at their pace, so there’s no rush.
Lesson 4-10Depending on age we move into learning how to properly kick and swimming to and from the wall from a float and getting out of the pool safely.
Lesson 2-3We start to make sure we are comfortable getting our face wet and practice falling in a rolling into a float. Some achieve this faster than others! Either way this is a basic we practice every lesson!
Advanced training plan
Your first lessonThose who have mastered the swim float swim can progress into strokes development. We begin by learning backstroke and sidestroke.
Lesson 11+Once freestyle is mastered we move into breast stroke and butterfly.
Lesson 4-10We are usually still progressing our freestyle at this point.
Lesson 2-3We continue to master back stroke and sidestroke while moving into freestyle.
Youth players
Working with kidsI work with ages 6 months - 12 years on water safety and survival skills and strokes development.
What you need to bringStudents are welcome to get their own gear as well and is encouraged.
