The initial focus will build on confidence in the water by utilizing breath control, floating and gliding, kicking and building strength, and coordination.
As the swimmer masters basic set skills, such as pool safety, breathing, floating, and body and arm coordination, the swimmer will be able to swim comfortably on their own with supervision. If your swimmer desires more advanced competitive swimming techniques, this stage will continue on the progression of stroke skills and techniques to move forward in your swimming career.
At this point, the swimmer will focus on confidence building & implementation of skills learned by helping the swimmer focus on their strengths and celebrating even the smallest achievement.
The following progression of lessons will introduce incremental stroke skills while incorporating water familiarization, proper equipment, comfort, safety, praise, and fun activities.
