Angelica is a legendary tennis coach with a remarkable career that began at just six years old. By nine, she was winning international tournaments, claiming a doubles title in Venezuela with none other than Monica Seles. Ranked No. 1 in Southern California and Mexico as a junior, she went on to reach the world’s top 40 by age 16, with career highlights including quarterfinal runs at the Australian Open and wins over top players like Steffi Graf and Jana Novotna. Angelica represented Mexico at the Olympics and played in iconic exhibitions against Pete Sampras and Gabriela Sabatini. Now coaching in Coronado, she’s dedicated to guiding the next generation of players, drawing from a career filled with unforgettable achievements. Angelica was honored as Coach of the Year in 2014 in San Diego and continues to shape California’s top talent with expertise and passion.
