Beginner training plan
Your first lessonIn my first lesson I make my students get familiar with their racquets and balls by making them bounce the ball to the floor and then upwards. I let them hit balls so they understand how the racquet works. I will teach them how to move correctly and correct techniques. Most importantly a good grip.
Lesson 11+Movement exercises. Technique exercises. Incorporating physical fitness. Point-play.
Lesson 4-10Here I will make them try to rally in mini tennis with me. I will teach them variety of grips and when to switch grips.
Lesson 2-3They will be hitting more balls. Forehands and backhands. In my third lesson I will incorporate serves and volleys.
Youth players
Working with kidsI make them have fun by doing fun exercises. Maintaining a calm and nice voice.
Working with teenagersI ask them what they like to do while playing. I went through their same process so I know how to act and what to ask them to do.
