Beginner training plan
Your first lessonFirst we will go over all the basic abilities required to play tennis such as sending/receiving, tracking, coordination and balance skills. We'll also go over all the fundamentals in the modern game such as grip, stance and basic strokes. We will use slower balls to get you started with confidence.
Lesson 11+Finally we will apply your skills to guided point play with introduction to more advanced techniques such as topspin and slice. Slowly increasing difficulty of drills with each lesson for new fun challenges every day!
Lesson 4-10Next we will learn how to rally and about basic strategies of tennis. Here we will work on both groundstrokes and volleys. We should be able to serve and play simple tie breakers at this point.
Lesson 2-3Next we'll continue refining your basic strokes and movement skills as well as learn the rules and scoring of tennis. We will also go over footwork and court positioning here.

Advanced training plan
Your first lessonWe'll assess your current level and go back to fundamentals as needed. We will ensure all of your strokes are smooth and consistent. We will assess your current abilities and tailor the lesson to your current needs. Increasing difficulty as we go!
Lesson 11+Now we'll work on your mental game and techniques to retain focus, resilience, and strategic thinking during matches.
Lesson 4-10Here we'll go into more advanced strategies such as positioning and shot placement. We'll have drills and practice matches to simulate competitive play.
Lesson 2-3Next we'll work on more advanced shots to elevate your game such as drop shot, agressive volley and we'll work on match strategy and shot selection.

Youth players
Working with kidsWhen teaching kids we will make use of red, orange, green balls to make tennis slower and easier to rally from the start! We use lots of games and activities to make tennis enjoyable and make sure everyone gets to hit a lot of balls anf have fun!

Working with teenagersWhen teaching teenagers, I adapt my lessons to balance skill development with social and competitive aspects that appeal to this age group. I incorporate advances drills and techniques that encourage cooperation and peer learning. We focus on both strategic thinking and physical fitness to best prepare then for competitive play!

What you need to bringTennis specific shoes and a racket. Racket should dangle an inch or two in the air when holding it.
