About your tennis coach
I've grown up playing tennis, having been taught and coached by my dad starting at the age of six. I played JV and varsity in high school and continued playing on the club competitive team in college. Over the years, I've helped friends with their groundstrokes and volleys, and now I want to gain more teaching and coaching experience so that I can one day teach my kids.

Your first lesson- How to hit a forehand and backhand:
- How to hold/grip and swing the racket
- Learn form and movement to create power and make contact with the ball
- Practice hitting forehand and backhands through ball feeding
Lesson 2-3- Continue practicing forehand and backhands, where I would help make adjustments for the player’s improvement
- Start learning consistency and control by first directing shots down the center
- Beginning of rallying
- Review and practice movement to create space before hitting the ball
Lesson 4-10- Continue practicing rallies
- Learn the areas of court
- Learn how to hit cross-court and down-the-line shots (separate lessons)
