My sister and I loved Flona! We went into the lesson super tense and nervous, but she got us more comfortable and by the end of the lesson and we definitely improved. At the end of the lesson, we talked through ways to practice before our next lesson. She easily explained what we’re doing wrong and how to fix it. It was exactly what I needed to improve my game. She has lots of patience and made the lesson fun for us. It was also nice getting to know each other throughout our time.

I really loved how my coach taught, she had so much patience and lover a sport that I’ve never seen in a coach before. She never gave up on me, and I thank her for that because tennis has been the only sport were I felt accepted and happy. Coach is so good at tennis, especially when competing with her, she hates to loose so she likes competition. I really also loved how she never let other people make her choices and she stood up for herself. I will miss my coach:(

Your first lessonIntroducing tennis to the player…court, equipment, first stroke etc
Lesson 11+Depending on the progress of the player. Competitive drills and play
Lesson 4-10Depends on the progress of the player. Learn and develop new strokes and strategies of the game. Learning to actually play the game with more challenging drills and practice
Lesson 2-3Mastering the first couple strokes and getting comfortable hitting various types of balls

What you need to bringDress for the weather, during the summer it’s hot so wear something cool, comfortable and modest. At other times when the weather ‘shifts’ a lot, bring a light jacket just in case.
Bring a hat, sunscreen and water. If you have a racquet you may bring it as well.
What I can bringI have tennis balls 🎾 and will provide a racquet if you don’t have one. I usually recommend that beginners don’t buy a racquet until after they have taken a few lessons and get an idea about their love for the game. There are many types of racquets and you want to choose one you will love using.
