Beginner training plan
Your first lesson We’ll start by talking about your tennis background and what you’d like to accomplish. I’ll evaluate your strokes, footwork, consistency, and court awareness, then identify the areas that will have the biggest impact on your improvement. You’ll leave with specific feedback and drills you can use between lessons.
Lesson 2-3 We’ll reinforce the key concepts from the first lesson while improving stroke mechanics, movement, and consistency. Depending on your goals, we’ll focus on groundstrokes, serves, volleys, or footwork using drills designed for your skill level.
Lesson 4-10Every lesson is tailored to your individual goals and pace. Whether you’re learning the game for the first time, preparing for league or tournament play, or getting back into tennis after time away, each session is designed to help you improve efficiently while enjoying the process.
Lesson 11+We’ll begin incorporating strategy, shot selection, court positioning, and point construction. You’ll learn how to make better decisions during rallies while continuing to improve technique through live-ball drills and coached point play.
