My journey has taken me from guiding high school boys and girls in Salt Lake City, Utah, to managing tennis programs at prestigious sports camps in Maine and New York, catering to boys aged 7-16. I've honed my skills teaching private, semi-private, and group lessons to both youth and adults in Palm Desert, California, as part of Peter Burwash International.

Beginner training plan
Your first lesson*introduction, review goals, stretch.
*Dribble and bump tennis ball to self with racket.
*Show and/or review forehand grip.
*Demonstrate the motion of the forehand.
*Toss or drop tennis ball, one at a time, to student.
*Demonstrate open, closed and flat angle of racket face and pathway of racket to ball with follow-through.
*Emphasize contact, control and direction.
*Repeat with the backhand.
* Review information learned.
