Beginner training plan
Your first trainingStart by getting to know the athlete and their goals. We’ll focus on basic setting technique, hand placement, footwork, and getting comfortable with the ball.
Training 2-3Build on the fundamentals with more consistent setting reps, footwork, location, and movement. We’ll also begin introducing game-like situations and decision-making.
Training 4-10Continue developing technique while adding more advanced setting, out-of-system balls, different tempos, and reading the game. We’ll also work on confidence and the mental side of volleyball.
Training 11+Continue building on the athlete’s individual goals and take their skills into more game-like situations. Sessions will be tailored to their position, level, and areas of growth.
Youth players
Working with kidsI keep lessons fun, encouraging, and engaging while focusing on strong fundamentals. I adjust drills to their age and skill level while helping them build confidence.
Working with teenagersI focus on developing their skills while also helping with confidence, game awareness, and the mental side of volleyball. I tailor drills to their goals and experience level
What you need to bringVolleyball shoes, knee pads if wanted! Really just themselves :)
What I can bringVolleyballs as well as any other things they will need will be provided.
