Coach Katie Schoessow Former Division I Libero & Nationally Recognized Athlete Katie Schoessow brings an extensive background as both a player and coach to Milwaukee Sting and Mukwonago Jrs. She is currently the Assistant Coach for Milwaukee Sting 16-1 Girls and Head Coach for Mukwonago Jrs 7th Grade. Previously, she served as Head Coach for Milwaukee Sting 11 White (2023) and will join the Sting 14-1 staff as an assistant for the 2024–2025 season. As a player, Katie competed for Milwaukee Sting from 2012–2018 as a libero, achieving top-five finishes at AAU Nationals in the Open Division each year. She earned numerous accolades, including JVA All-Region (2014–2018), AAU All-American (2014 & 2015), and over 20 All-Tournament Team selections. In high school, she led Mukwonago to its first-ever state tournament appearance in 2018, while earning 1st Team All-Conference (2016–2018), Libero of the Classic 8 (2017 & 2018), and All-State honors (2017 & 2018). Katie continued her volleyball career at Marquette University (2018–2022) as a Division I libero, where she was part of the program’s first NCAA Sweet 16 appearance in 2018. Coaching Philosophy: Katie is passionate about developing athletes to reach their full potential. She emphasizes hard work, discipline, and technical growth, training every player to compete at the highest level.
