Your first training
For a first volleyball lesson with beginners:
Warm-up (10-15 mins): Light jogging and basic stretches, incorporating volleyball movements.
Introduce Rules (5 mins): Briefly explain the court layout and key rules.
Basic Skills (20-25 mins): Teach passing (bumping), serving (underhand), and setting with simple demonstrations and practice.
Movement & Positioning (10 mins): Teach basic footwork and positioning for each skill.
Cool Down (5-10 mins): Light stretching and a quick recap.
Training 2-3
In the second and third volleyball lessons, beginners can expect:
Refinement of Basic Skills: More practice on passing, serving, and setting. Emphasis on improving consistency and control.
Introduction to New Skills: Start learning basic attacking (e.g., hitting) and defensive movements (e.g., digging).
Game-like Situations: More focus on applying skills in drills, like passing and setting in a simple rally or mini-game.
Footwork and Positioning: More emphasis on movement, positioning, and transitioning between skills (e.g., moving from pass to set to attack).

Lesson 4:
Refine passing/serving (introduce overhand serve)
Start defense (digging basics)
Mini-games for teamwork
Lesson 5:
Introduce attacking (hitting) and basic blocking
Scrimmage drills to practice skills in game scenarios
Lesson 6:
Serve receive techniques
Team defense (digging, positioning)
Game scenarios (serve receive, attack, rotate)
Lesson 7:
Improve attacking & timing
Advanced blocking (solo/team)
Increased scrimmaging
Lesson 8:
Serve placement strategy
Transition play (defense to offense)

Advanced attack techniques (tips, corners)
Defense against attacks (digging, positioning)
Scrimmage focus on transitions
Lesson 10:
