I'm Trey Merrill, a Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt with over 11 years of training under my belt. For the past 7 years, I've been sharing my passion for the art by teaching everyone from kids to adults. My journey in Jiu-Jitsu has been incredibly rewarding, and I love helping students unlock their full potential on the mat and develop an understanding for street ready self defense. I am also the first Jiujitsu coach on the Teach Me app as well!

Trey’s ability shines when instructing a standard large size class, but even more so when it comes to private lesson settings, street combative classes and women self defense focus classes, where there are trickier scenario involved the greater differences in body types & strength and more sensitive street defense topics. as a female bjj practitioner, I feel extremely lucky to have Trey show me the way, and I hope more people get to benefit from his teaching the way I did.
