Bio: With nearly 35 years of experience as a guitarist, I have performed extensively across the United States and internationally, delivering concerts, lectures, and masterclasses to diverse audiences. Deeply inspired by legendary artists Paco de Lucía and Tommy Emmanuel, my musical style reflects a rich fusion of technical precision and expressive artistry. I am passionate about teaching guitar to students of all ages, levels, and musical interests. My goal is to create a positive, inspiring, and engaging learning environment where each student can develop a deep appreciation for music while progressing at their own pace. I believe that the journey of learning music should be as enjoyable as the destination. I currently serve as a guitar professor at Nebraska Wesleyan University and Union Adventist University. I am also honored to be a Music Art Ambassador for the Nebraska Arts Council, a guest teaching artist for the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and a Teaching Artist in Residence at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. In recognition of my contributions to the music community, I was proud to receive the 2023 Major Choice Award for Best Musician in Lincoln. Sharing my knowledge and experience is one of my greatest joys. I am dedicated to nurturing the unique musical voice of each student and supporting their artistic growth every step of the way.
