Bio: Trained initially by ear, I developed a natural sensitivity to melody, harmony, and rhythm long before beginning formal instruction. This aural-first approach laid the groundwork for a later deep dive into traditional jazz studies, where I refined my skills in improvisation, theory, and performance. My teaching integrates both worlds—fostering creativity and musical intuition while grounding students in the rich language of jazz.
