About Jamey

Learn pickleball! I'm a full time professor, and I've played pickleball for over 7 years.. I taught so many of our friends how to play that my wife said, you should give lessons.. So I became a certified instructor through the first pickleball organization, The International Pickleball Teaching Professional Association (IPTPA). I offer personalized instruction, built upon a foundation of effective strategies and skillful technique. Its super fun so you should join us!

What students say...

"Today’s lesson with Jamie was quite helpful, especially focusing on solving problems with my backhand. Although I still need to see improvements on the skills he taught me, I feel more confident about my overall game now. Still, there's room to grow, I suppose consistent practice will make the difference.

The lesson with Jamey was amazing! He was friendly, kind, and he really knew his stuff. We practiced on a nice court, and he even lent me some equipment. It’s clear he has a good grasp of pickleball and makes the lesson feel easygoing. I left feeling like I’d gotten some solid pointers, especially about my court positioning. If you’re looking for someone who’s knowledgeable but approachable, talk to Jamey.

I was pleased with the lesson, especially playing that short game which really helped me see where I need to improve. I still have some work to do on consistency. Still, it’s clear there’s room to build on what was covered, and I think with more practice I could really refine my skill set. If you’re looking for a measured way to improve your pickleball, Jamey’s lessons might be worth trying.

That lesson was very good. Jamie always brings a challenge to each lesson, which keeps things interesting. Still, I think I could keep growing my skills with more practice.

That lesson felt genuinely fun, and I left with a better understanding of the game. I’ll work on serving from the left side to keep the momentum going.
