I’ve been passionate about tennis for over 20 years, thanks to my father who introduced me to the game at a young age. I earned my coaching certification from The Professional Tennis Registry in 2021 and have since coached for Nike Tennis Camps, Smoke Rise Country Club, and offered private lessons. As a former Division II college player, I also volunteered at an afterschool program, where I had the chance to teach kids tennis alongside a local coach. This experience, along with four years of coaching at Reading & Requests, taught me the value of listening to students and using positive reinforcement to foster rapid improvement. In my lessons, I focus on mastering the six basic strokes, keeping score, proper hand placement, and understanding the rules of the game. My classes are designed to be dynamic, fun, and structured for maximum skill development.
"Great time as always!

From the courts of middle school to the state's competitive stages, my tennis journey began at 13 and has been a thrilling ride since. My dedication led to being named MVP in my junior and senior years, while also embracing USTA tournaments and intense matches against fellow Texas high schools. Standing strong at a 4.0 level, I'm passionate about sharing my tennis insights with you, whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out. Let's elevate your game together!
"The lesson with Eric was quite helpful. He was patient and really took the time to help me improve my skills. Though I still have some work, I feel more confident on the court now. I’d say, give him a try if you're looking for someone who genuinely wants to see you progress.

For nearly three decades, I've had the privilege of competing at a professional level and guiding aspiring tennis players. My coaching blends technical mastery with a deep understanding of the mental game, and empowering students to excel on and off the court. Here is a quick background on my Tennis: As a junior player, I competed for a State, Southern, and National ranking in my age group. I played 2 years of College Tennis on a Full-Scholarship before completing my degree at Georgia Tech. Following my degree, I competed for 5 years in ITF/USTA Pro Circuit + Prize Money Events. I was the Head Coach for a Men's and Women's College Tennis Program at SCAD-Atlanta between 2016-2020. I have a wealth of experience that can take your Tennis to the next level! Let's unlock your potential together!
"I have had nothing less than an enlightening experience with Coach Amyn, not only when it comes to athletics, but also general health and approaching problems. He is someone I look towards when I think about ways, not only to improve my tennis but to overcome obstacles and mental blocks when it comes to approaching my health. I have had the opportunity to coach with him and be coached by him. My experience has taught me about tough love. He is someone who cares enough to be strict about excellence. Coach Amyn expects that we try our best, regardless of the outcome. My experience has taught me about the belief and not giving up on people. Most importantly, about demanding excellence out of myself first, in order to bring it out of others. Coach Amyn pushes himself to the brink, which inspires me to be better and push myself farther than I thought I could go. The result: a drastic athletic improvement since I have worked with him, and a mindset that has aided me in becoming a better athlete.

As a certified and insured tennis coach, I have a passion for helping players of all levels achieve their goals on the court. I particularly excel at introducing beginners to the fundamentals of tennis, ensuring a fun and supportive learning environment. With my guidance, you'll develop solid technique, gain confidence, and experience the joy of playing tennis. Ready to start your tennis journey? Contact me today to schedule your first lesson!
