I am a former D1 tennis player and I’m offering my services as a hitting partner as well as a coach. I played D2 as well and my University was ranked 9 in the nation. Won many singles and doubles tournaments throughout my career. Used to be Top 50. I’ve worked as a student athlete at a D1 school as well. Does not matter if you are a beginner or a professional tennis player, I offer insight for all. All of my current clients are extremely happy as I have helped carve their game significantly. My previous clients include top ranked Junior and Men's players as well as recreational players. Located in San Francisco but can drive around. I found the lesson on dinking purposefully quite helpful, especially as someone still working on control at the net. Though I wasn't expecting such a focus, it really clarified how intentional dinking can set up the whole point. Kal's approach made me think differently about those softer shots, and I left with some practical ideas to try next time I play. I'm really glad I continued with the drill on backhand drives and added backhand drops in my lesson with Kal. It was quite helpful. Plus, I appreciated that Kal was willing to play singles and even doubles afterward, which made it more practical. Though, I think more focus on backhand technique and footwork would be good for next time, and maybe trying out some new shots I haven't learned yet. Still, I feel pretty confident about my backhand now, so I’ll definitely consider trying another lesson with Kal soon.
