I was born in Romania and started tennis at age 6, was consistently ranked among SoCal's top 100 juniors in every age group from the 12s through the 18s. Also attained a national junior ranking and a high ranking of #74 in the SoCal Men's Open Singles division. Played #5 singles for College of the Desert during the 2010 season, reaching the CA state semifinals in our division. Played in qualifying at a number of ITF Futures events. Achieved a UTR Rating of 10. Extensive junior teaching experience, taught daily (Mon-Sat) junior clinics for beginners and intermediate kids at the Plaza Racquet Club in Palm Springs between September 2012 and June 2016. Also taught at Cathedral Canyon Country Club since 2010 and The Parker Hotel in Palm Springs since 2018.
