"Whether you are brand new to golf, someone who is actively looking to lower your handicap, or maybe someone who is stuck in a rut mentally, Heath will meet you where you’re at. He’s got a knack for identifying solutions, and communicating effectively no matter who he’s working with. Heath helped me go from a 20+ handicap down to a 12. A few months ago, I hit a mental hurdle and had two of the worst rounds Ive had in years. Thinking I forgot how to play, I reached out to Heath for advice. Not only did he give me some sound advice/drills to focus on when at the range, but he helped me restore confidence in myself for the next time I hit the course. I came out the next round and bounced back with a low 80’s score at one of the hardest courses I’ve ever played. This is what Heath does. He’s married to the game of golf and he’s a natural when it comes to coaching it. If you live in Arizona and you’re looking for lessons, I couldn’t recommend Heath highly enough.

As an Arizona native James’s passion for golf began in junior golf. He played high school and college golf before turning Professional after graduating from Arizona State University in 1987. While working at Camelback Golf Club as an assistant professional, James started their first junior program. After becoming a Professional Golfer’s Association (PGA) Class A Member in 1992, he started instructing full-time teaching students in golf schools and corporate outings. In 1996 he found a summer teaching position in Alaska, and to this day continues to teach golf each summer there. James has been a Teaching Professional at Las Sendas Golf Club since 2002 providing instruction for all types of players from beginners to professionals. Programs for members, individuals, juniors, clinics, groups, corporate, and golf schools. James provides individual analysis and works to make each student’s swing work best for them.

Mark Crouch II is a PGA Associate with over 2,200 hours of instruction experience. He believes in ground-up, root-cause instruction, utilizing video and launch monitor data to provide essential feedback. This approach helps his students identify and understand their correct and incorrect moves and the associated feelings. Mark assists golfers of all skill levels in finding their best game, teaching at Westbrook Village's The Lakes and The Vistas golf courses, as well as in an air-conditioned instructional studio.

For a little over 30 years I’ve been a PGA instructor and successfully helped golfers from beginners to touring professionals hone their golfing skills. I will make you better at this great game no matter your skill level. My experience of playing at all levels including the PGA Tour coupled with my teaching background enable me to connect with all levels of golfers. I teach at Papago golf course which is also the home Arizona State University golf teams. Papago Opened in September of 1963 and Hosted the 1971 USGA Public Links Championship with my father Arch as the first Head Professional. Watching him teach as I was growing up gave me the fundamentals for teaching philosophy that has carried with me throughout my entire career. I specialize in Private one-on-one lessons covering the entire spectrum of the game, but also will do group lessons and clinics for the short game only.
