I'm a skilled 4.0 USTA coach and player, specializing in doubles but always ready for singles as well! My journey with tennis began in high school back in 2007. Beyond my playing prowess, I have a rich coaching history. I was a high school teacher and had the honor of serving as a head coach for varsity tennis. My coaching expertise also extends to assistant roles, where I've led JV, Freshman, and Sophomore teams. Let's hit the courts and continue this tennis legacy together!
"Great first lesson

With years of experience playing against top-tier talent and being coached by professional trainers, I bring a level of expertise that sharpens not just your basketball skills—dribbling, shooting, footwork, post moves—but your mental toughness as well. My training builds muscle memory that transcends the court, giving you the confidence and discipline to excel both on and off the game
"Honestly, I found the lesson quite helpful, especially in how Javonntie was able to teach me. Though I still have some areas to improve, I appreciate the way he explained things clearly. The lesson's highlight was definitely his ability to teach me, which made a difference. Still, I think incorporating more drills related to shooting could help me sharpen my skills further. But overall, I’d be open to trying another lesson with Javonntie soon.

Let’s level up your game — and have a blast doing it! Hi, I’m Rian Weston-Dodds, I’ve been playing for over 5 years now coaching for about 2. I’ve had a career high DUPR rating of over 5.0 and have coached at various locations including Picklemall, Life Time, the Picklr, and now soon Dink and Dine. I'm PPR certified, with 70 matches logged in DUPR from leagues and tournaments. I specialize in helping beginners players get a handle on the game, and also the intermediate players with strategy and technical aspects. I look forward to working with you on the court! At the moment, the Mountainside Fitness on Frank Lloyd Wright is the easiest way to get a an indoor court during the summer, free for members and only $10 for non members. It is on a basketball court but it works fine for practice. Otherwise, The Orchard Indoor Pickleball Private Event Venue by Talking Stick resort is also a good option for a rentable, authentic indoor court. But it does cost $30 for an hour. If you have your own private court let me know, otherwise many public courts get busy in the early mornings and afternoons but often times Ashler Hills usually has an open court.
"Rian is a fantastic coach who offers clear and practical advice during our pickleball lessons. I enjoyed how he adjusts strategies on the spot to help improve the game. His guidance really helped me play better and feel more confident on the court. If you want to develop your skills in a supportive way, Rian’s lessons are definitely worth trying.

"Coach Robinson is really good with Lisa. Often, she’s waiting on the day for them to train together. I never knew my daughter had this drive in her. Safe to say Coach Robinson manifested what I thought my daughter was missing. He knows the right things to say!
