The techniques shared for comparing chipping swing to putting also made sense and now feel more natural to practice. Growing up, I had the opportunity to train at the USA Baseball Headquarters in Cary, North Carolina, where I competed in national trial games and came within one step of earning a spot on the U.S. National Team. Throughout high school, I was a highly regarded prospect, drawing interest from programs such as Grand Canyon University, New Mexico State University, the University of Arizona, and other top schools across the West Coast. I ultimately continued my baseball career at South Mountain Community College in Phoenix, Arizona. Although a torn labrum in my throwing shoulder impacted my playing career, it fueled my desire to stay involved in the game through coaching and player development. My passion now lies in helping young athletes grow—teaching not only the physical aspects of baseball but also the mental side that separates good players from great ones.
