Embarking on a journey into the realm of dance five years ago, I am fortunate to be experienced in many kinds of dance including ballroom, salsa, and Afro-Cuban dance. The profound impact of body movement as both a hobby and a healing tool immediately captivated me. Recognizing its transformative power, I delved deeper into this passion, immersing myself in Afro-Cuban dance and salsa. My mission is to impart the fundamental body movements inspired by African and Latin dancing, empowering individuals to embrace their bodies and find comfort in movement. In my eyes, body movement is a universal healer, and I'm dedicated to guiding and opening up hearts and bodies through the joy of dance.

At the age of 9, I discovered basketball and became obsessed with it. “Basketball is life” was my motto growing up—from finishing team practices at the gym, then going straight to a local basketball court for pickup games. I considered basketball courts my second home, and in many ways, they still are. My playing journey took me through several years in AAU leagues, starting with the Bay Area Asian Sports Dragons as a youth. As a four-year varsity player, I earned MVP and MIP awards in middle school and high school, and was honored to make the PAL NorCal All-League First and Second Teams during my later years. These experiences taught me that individual recognition means nothing without the team and community that supports you. I am an advocate for fostering community and connections through sports, and I truly believe that sports bring out the best in people. Having walked the path from beginner to competitive player, I want to be a guiding light for those just starting out or looking to elevate their development. My goal is to help players grow their skills while encouraging them to become better people throughout their journey. For over two decades, I’ve cultivated a deep love and understanding of basketball. I focus on skill development and strategic thinking, fostering both confident players and a genuine love for the game. I’m here to share that same passion with anyone who aspires to get better and compete to their fullest potential.

With my degree in psychology, I focus on also teaching the mental framework necessary to be a successful athlete. Currently I am a coach for the CGE 10u team in San Mateo. I am able to work with players at any age. I’m more than happy to work on any aspect of the game (hitting, fielding, catching, pitching).

I have taught kids and adults of all skill levels for the past 4 years I Specialize in helping intermediate to advanced players make the next step in their game whether it’s technical skills or tactical improvements to help you win matches. If you are new to tennis or are just getting started that’s great to! We can go over the fundamentals and jump start your game. I have special equipment that is beginner friendly which follows your progress.
