New to this platform! I’ve been playing tennis my whole life, and started playing pickleball in 2019. Also working as a Surf and Soccer instructor, I’ve got experience and am passionate about teaching others. As a 4.5+ tournament champion, I bring years of patience and experience to my lessons, focusing on development on areas that need improvement, while keeping things fun, lighthearted and informative.

Welcome to Golf Lessons by coach Kollar, where passion meets precision. Mile Square Golf Club in Fountain Valley is my home course, where I’ll often be found, sharpening & working on my game. As a trained golf instructor, I specialize in offering a personalized swing and short game lesson in golf. Whether you're a beginner, eager to learn the basics and fundamentals of the game, or intermediate player aiming to refine your overall golfing ability, the lessons I implement are designed to enhance your overall golf game, while most importantly helping you to enjoy the time you spend practicing. As a graduate of Golf Academy of America, Carlsbad, California (unfortunately no longer in business), I studied the golf swing, psychology of golf, and complex teaching methods as well as golf game management. I also learned how to build and assemble golf clubs, as well as expanding my knowledge on the vast and complex rules of golf. During my 2 years at GAA, beyond my studies, I competed at a collegiate level, making the competitive Golf Team each semester I attended. I came to understand that there are no two identical golf swings. My job is to influence you to find the mechanically correct way to improve your swing and develop your short game, to help you enjoy golf more than you ever have!

Played competitive golf in the 2000s and still play recreationally. I have been coached by my stable of professional tour players and PGA coaches over the years. I have studied the golf swing extensively via individual mechanics. I do not change someone's swing based on textbook, but I do ensure the basics are flawless. Grip, stance, posture and alignment are essential. I help players improve within their own abilities and tendencies to recreate and reinforce positive patterns.

Fueled from a life long passion for racquet sports including playing for UC Irvine tennis 1986-1990, I became a dedicated pickleball enthusiast in January 2021. I started at over 190 lbs and currently am at 160 lbs and in the best shape I have been for the last 20+ years, so I know the benefits of pickleball. Not to mention the wide array of good friends I have made over the years. I currently compete at the Senior Pro level and my DUPR rating is over 5.0 in both singles and doubles. Hello! As the Tournament Director and President of The World Pickleball Association LLC, I bring a wealth of experience to the court. With multiple pro certifications, including being a certified pickleball coach with both PPR and IPTPA, I have been teaching and refining players' skills for years.
