Welcome to Golf Lessons by P. Kollar, where passion meets precision in the charming city of Fountain Valley, CA. Mile Square Golf Club is my home course, where you’ll often find me working on my game. As a dedicated golf instructor, I specialize in offering a personalized coaching lesson in golf. Whether you're a beginner eager to learn the basics and fundamentals of the game or intermediate player aiming to refine your overall golfing ability, the lessons I implement are designed to enhance your overall golf game, while most importantly helping you to enjoy your time spent practicing. As a graduate of Golf Academy of America, Carlsbad, California (sadly no longer in business), I studied the psychology of golf, complex teaching and course management. I also learned how to build a set of golf clubs as well as mastering the complex rules of golf, and the overall fundamentals of how to coach and instruct students. During my 2 years at GAA, I quickly excelled, making the competitive Club Golf Team. I came to learn that there are no two identical golf swings. It is my job to assist you to find the mechanically correct way to improve your swing and develop your short game. Whenever you’re ready to lower that scorecard, I’m ready to coach you!

Travis is a dedicated PGA member and TPI Golf Level 3 certified instructor who found his passion for golf early and never looked back. With over 15 years of teaching experience and a lead instructor role at Big Canyon Country Club since 2015, Travis combines expertise with cutting-edge tools like high-speed video, Swing Catalyst, K-Motion technology, and launch monitors to analyze and enhance each athlete’s performance. His approach centers on biomechanics and the body-swing connection, focusing on rhythm, feel, and flow to help players fully enjoy the game. Outside of golf, Travis and his wife Erin, along with their three children, Courtlynn, Jordy, and Bodie, enjoy an active lifestyle filled with sports, the beach, mountains, and travel adventures from their home in Aliso Viejo.

My journey with golf began at the age of 6 when my grandpa crafted my first set of clubs. Since then, golf has been my constant companion, leading me to captain my high school golf team and later coach the girl's varsity team at Jurupa Valley after my time at UCLA where double majored in anthropology and philosophy. With a background in teaching and coaching, golf isn't just a sport to me—it's a lifelong passion that brings joy and fulfillment. As a coach, I'm dedicated to passing on this love of the game to others, guiding students through all aspects of golf, from swing mechanics to mental strategies, physical conditioning, and course management. Whether you're a beginner eager to learn the basics or a seasoned player looking to elevate your game, I'm here to help you reach your full potential on the course.
