I’ve been a member of the PGA since 2004. I was the head teaching pro at El Dorado Park in Long Beach for 13 years before moving over to Recreation Park 18. I created the first ever teaching & coaching completion within the PGA of America called America’s Golf Coach. I also created and run a non profit in Long Beach called Tee Off Together. I am a co-author of a book called Americas Golf Coach available on Amazon. Lessons also include on course instruction.

"Rian was awesome!! I told him specifically what I wanted to work on and understand how to fix it while on the course. We got straight to it, within 5 minutes he was able to identify some of my gaps with my swing and pinpoint how to fix it. He was very straight forward with clear instructions, easy to understand. He recorded my swings and showed me the wrongs, rights and progression throughout my sessions. Hitting off grass was also a plus, great vibe, great conversations, he knows his stuff. Great instructions for an affordable price, I highly recommend him!!

My journey in golf began at age five, competing in tournaments by age nine. I proudly represented Davis Senior High School's Varsity golf team for all four years. Although I didn't make the cut for the University of Oregon's D1 golf team, my passion for the sport remained undiminished. During high school, I shared my love for golf by coaching kids at the Golf and Splash summer camp in Davis. Now, I'm committed to regular practice, striving to lower my index back to scratch.
