"That lesson with Kerry was quite good, honestly. The focus on improving my technique really hit the mark, and I felt more confident on the board afterward. Though I still need to work on timing, the relaxed attitude Kerry maintains made the lesson feel natural. I particularly appreciated the guidance on paddling and positioning, which really helped me to catch waves more consistently. Still, I’m hopeful that with a few more lessons, I’ll make even better progress. If you’re into steady, no-pressure learning, I’d suggest giving Kerry a try.

I started playing pickleball 3 years ago and I play several times a week in advanced level open play and ladder sessions. I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to go from not knowing how to play to being a solid pickup player who can play in intermediate and advanced games. I still know exactly what it’s like to be a brand new beginner and trying to figure out the game especially all the rules. My coaching style is easygoing and I try to keep the lessons light hearted so everyone feels welcome and comfortable. I like to use a mix of drills and gameplay with real time instruction and feedback during my lessons. A group of 3 or 4 students makes for a great class because I can play a doubles game with you while teaching you how the game works. I can also advise you on equipment, where to play, what apps to download to find games and leagues, etc. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
