At the age of 9, I discovered basketball and became obsessed with it. “Basketball is life” was my motto growing up—from finishing team practices at the gym, then going straight to a local basketball court for pickup games. I considered basketball courts my second home, and in many ways, they still are. My playing journey took me through several years in AAU leagues, starting with the Bay Area Asian Sports Dragons as a youth. As a four-year varsity player, I earned MVP and MIP awards in middle school and high school, and was honored to make the PAL NorCal All-League First and Second Teams during my later years. These experiences taught me that individual recognition means nothing without the team and community that supports you. I am an advocate for fostering community and connections through sports, and I truly believe that sports bring out the best in people. Having walked the path from beginner to competitive player, I want to be a guiding light for those just starting out or looking to elevate their development. My goal is to help players grow their skills while encouraging them to become better people throughout their journey. For over two decades, I’ve cultivated a deep love and understanding of basketball. I focus on skill development and strategic thinking, fostering both confident players and a genuine love for the game. I’m here to share that same passion with anyone who aspires to get better and compete to their fullest potential.

I bring over two years of solid experience and my huge passion for sharing my love of the sport with players of all levels and ages. Let's work together to elevate your skills and unlock your full potential on the court. As a former competitive soccer player, I feel confident with my agility, coordination and strategy against a variety of opponents even though I do not have a tennis background. I will teach you the basics as well as elevate your skills and provide detail for you specifically on how to improve and progress to the next level player, or enter your first tournament whilst having so much fun!! This game provides amazing exercise, socialization and competitive play. It’s “adult recess” as I say! Let’s go!!!!!

With playing experience at the high school and college level as well as coaching experience with the Los Angeles Dodgers organization, I look to share my knowledge of the game to help develop ball players. With my degree in psychology, I focus on also teaching the mental framework necessary to be a successful athlete. Currently I am a coach for the CGE 10u team in San Mateo.
