Hi, I’m Coach Frida Monsalvo I’m a former Division 1 soccer player, All-American, and SCC Defensive Player of the Year with a degree in Kinesiology and a deep passion for helping athletes reach their full potential. I currently serve as the Head Girls’ Soccer Coach at Glen A. Wilson High School and as an Assistant Coach for the Mt. SAC Women’s Soccer Program. With years of experience as both a player and coach, I specialize in sports performance, speed and agility, strength and conditioning, and injury recovery—especially for athletes returning from ACL injuries. I’ve worked with athletes of all levels and ages, from youth players learning the basics to competitive athletes preparing for the next level. My goal is to create an environment where every athlete feels seen, supported, and challenged. I believe in combining science-based training with intentional coaching that builds discipline, confidence, and a strong mindset. I've be committed to my teaching for almost 25 years, helping people of all levels. I’ve taught over 30,000 group & private lessons helping people achieve their goals. I’ve been a member of the PGA since 2004. I was the head teaching pro at El Dorado Park in Long Beach for 13 years before moving over to Recreation Park 18. I created the first ever teaching & coaching completion within the PGA of America called America’s Golf Coach. I also created and run a non profit in Long Beach called Tee Off Together. I am a co-author of a book called Americas Golf Coach available on Amazon. Lessons also include on course instruction.
