I am a graduate of Valparaiso University with degrees in music and theatre and I have been teaching piano, voice, and acting students for over 8 years. It is my personal philosophy that learning should be joyful and a ton of fun! I am a graduate of Second City’s Music Improv Conservatory, and I have taught young people and adults of all ages across Chicago and Los Angeles with Chicago Children’s Theatre, Lifeline Theatre, MA School of Acting, and in Chicago Public Schools. You may have seen me in the Romantic Comedy film Baking Up Love, in commercials for Smithfield, Pearson Textbooks, The Kentucky Lottery and more, as well as countless theatre productions and voiceovers. I can’t wait to tailor lessons to fit you and your goals, and to have so much fun singing together!

I have over 30 years of basketball instruction, including playing, training and coaching. I've honed a coaching philosophy that emphasizes both fundamental skill development hard work and discipline. My passion is giving a supportive yet challenging environment where athletes can reach their full potential, on and off the court.

My coaching philosophy is simple: every session should be as enjoyable as it is instructive, no matter your skill level. I take pride in introducing newcomers to the world of pickleball and relish in the opportunity to elevate the game for those looking to step up their play. I've had the pleasure of teaching with the fantastic team at Reaxn Pickleball, right at the Burbank Tennis Center, as well as various other Rec Centers. My goal is always the same – to make sure that fun and improvement go hand in hand for everyone. PRIVATE COURT! Pre HARVARD WESTLAKE coach Certified Mikele is a highly experienced tennis coach with a proven track record of success. He led Harvard Westlake to an undefeated championship in his first coaching role and has managed an academy of nationally ranked tournament players. With NFHS and CPR certifications, he brings both expertise and safety to his coaching sessions. Mikele has worked alongside a former ATP world #10 and two-time Davis Cup player as the sole assistant coach for his tennis academy, honing advanced skills in drills, workouts, and adapting to various playing styles. Staying in competitive shape himself, Mikele combines professional-level insight with a passion for developing players at all levels.

With a lifelong background in racket sports, including tennis, table tennis, and a passion for pickleball, I combine my experience as a competitive 5.0-level pickleball medalist with three Division 1 tennis championships and a Southern California CIF semifinal appearance. I currently teach at Mulholland Hills Country Club and Mika's Tennis Academy and have previously worked as a Special Education instructor, Registered Behavior Therapist, Adaptive Skills Clinician, Mobility Trainer, and Physical Therapist Aide. I hold a Master's degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Biomechanics. My students have earned medals from the 2.5–4.5 levels and qualified for USA Pickleball Nationals. I'm also proud to partner with leading pickleball brands, including Selkirk, Honolulu Pickleball Company, Osaka and Spartus, allowing my students access to exclusive discounts on premium equipment.
