Raised on the shores of Oahu, Hawaii, my journey began with the rhythm of the waves at the age of 10, sparking a lifelong passion for surfing. Alongside carving waves, I immersed myself in college and high school football, basketball, and track, finding joy in the thrill of competition. As a competitor in the Hawaii Amateur Surfing Association for 5 years, I honed my skills in the ocean's embrace. Complementing my active lifestyle, I prioritize breathwork, stretching, and a healthy diet to nourish both body and soul. Transitioning into coaching, I've shared my love for sports with the next generation through coaching high school and pop warner football, as well as youth basketball. As an Oahu Professional Photographer, I've captured the beauty of surfing, sports, weddings, and family portraits, preserving cherished memories for clients. For the past decade, I've surfed the waves of San Francisco, delighting in small to medium fun perfect waves and discovering local gems based on conditions. Currently, I'm homeschooling my 8-year-old daughter, embracing the opportunity to instill a love for learning and adventure.

Despite this, I still managed to earn my way onto my extremely competitive high school varsity team through hard work and discipline. In college, I began coaching kids 2-18 years old both privately and on recreational + competitive teams. I have years of experience working with youth, coaching soccer, and a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology which means I emphasize proper motor development and injury prevention in my instruction. My goal is for children to have a healthy, lifelong relationship with the greatest sport in the world!

Christina Wang I began my musical journey at the age of 5 with classical piano, and since high school, I have expanded my skills to include singing, dancing, and theater. I hold a graduate degree in music from the University of California, Berkeley, and have had the privilege of participating in various musical ensembles—ranging from university choir and orchestra to chamber choirs and small ensembles. With over 23 years of teaching experience, I have had the honor of guiding students through their own musical paths. As a teacher, I pride myself on being organized, patient, encouraging, and fun. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to tailor my approach to each student's unique needs. The moment when a student experiences that breakthrough and everything "clicks" is what fuels my passion for teaching.
