Hello my name is Armen Grigorian I am from Glendale CA I have played the sport of basketball since I was 8 years old right now I’m 34 years old so 26 years I have coached kids at glendale ymca since age 13 so 21 years of coaching. I also inspire kids to be successful on and off the court I am a shooting exhibitionist I pride myself on that to be efficient in my shot making abilities. I am a basketball lifer I love the game very much it makes happy to see a kid evolve their skills on the basketball court offensively and defensively. What is more important to me is being humble on the court with displaying great sportsmanship I think it translates for their lives outside of basketball it puts a smile on my face

I’ve competed at high levels throughout my career, and now I’m passionate about helping the next generation not only master the game—but move with confidence. My background in soccer and running mechanics allows me to train athletes in both skill and speed, with a focus on technique, injury prevention, and building self-belief. I know what it means to find your identity through sport. I coach with heart, energy, and purpose creating a space where athletes feel seen, challenged, and empowered. With a lifelong background in racket sports, including tennis, table tennis, and a passion for pickleball, I combine my experience as a competitive 5.0-level pickleball medalist and three Division 1 championships, and reaching the Southern California Semi-finals of CIF in tennis. A teaching professional at Braemar Country Club and Mika's Tennis Academy, a former Special Education instructor, registered behavior therapist, adaptive skills clinician, mobility trainer, and physical therapist aide, and I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, and Biomechanics. Students have medaled in 2.5–4.5 and qualified for USAP Nationals. Let’s improve your game, reach new heights, and most importantly, have fun!
