"Coach Kelbe is very adept in his ability of assessing a player and is able to create a training program that builds on progressions as you move along. Coach has definitely elevated my son's skillset in a short amount of time. One thing that stands out is the vast array of drills that coach is able to pull from to build skills in different ways and the instruction that goes along with it. This has given my son a better understanding of when or how to use certain skills in game situations.

I actually didn't like tennis much when I first started at 8 years old - I'd swing, look around for the ball and find it stuck in the throat of my racquet. Having the right coach and mentor a few years later changed how I saw the game, and eventually how I saw myself. Though injuries and finances ultimately cut my junior career short, I continued to work on my skills and fitness, and found coaching as a way to share my passion with others who feel the same way. I have experience at the California Junior College level earning First Team All-Conference 2x, and earning a full scholarship to play at an NCAA D2 school, St. Martin's University. I have shot an average of 40% from 3pt for my career. My comprehensive coaching approach fosters growth on and off the court. Music is my life, and guitar is my passion! As a professional musician for many years, I'm eager to share my knowledge with students of all levels. I've taught guitar for over 20 years, focusing on developing a strong foundation in technique and music theory.

I've been strumming the guitar for over three decades, sharing my expertise as a teacher for seven years. My journey includes performing professionally at top Hawaiian hotels and being part of the Michael Herrera Classical Quartet. Diving into music theory at Laney College, Chabot College, and California State University, Hayward, I'm thrilled to guide you on your guitar adventure!

I am a guitarist, performer, and composer who studied at the California Jazz Conservatory with over 18 years experience of playing and teaching. I have worked and studied with renowned musicians such as Jonathan Kreisberg, Liberty Ellman, Romain Pilon, and Mimi Fox. While now primarily a jazz musician, my playing is also influenced by rock legends like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Joe Satriani, and Steve Vai. I believe that every student learns and grows differently, with their own unique goals. My approach is all about cultivating a safe, fun, and encouraging learning environment where students can develop at their own pace. I emphasize both dedication and enjoyment—because playing guitar should be as rewarding as it is challenging. Specialties: Jazz, rock, metal, blues, pop & folk
