🎾 Bay Area Tennis Coaching I’ve been playing since I was 4 years old. I trained in the competitive junior tennis system in Moscow, competed in national tournaments, and also played internationally. Tennis has shaped who I am, and now I’m excited to share that experience with others. 🎾 Private lessons 🎾 Sparring / hitting partner 🎾 Juniors & adults welcome 🎾 All skill levels 📍 Bay Area

I’ve coached players at every level — from complete beginners to high-performance athletes. That includes Alexander Sarkissian, who reached a career-high of 158 in the world and was an NCAA singles finalist in 2014, as well as current player Jean-Baptiste Badon (13.06 UTR). Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your game to the next level, I’d be happy to work with you.

Joe has had the honor to be educating and mentoring all ages, all levels all styles and special needs children for over 25 years! His teaching method has been described as EDUCATIONAL, PRACTICAL and FUN! 🤩 Being a Berklee College of Music Graduate, he will be able to assist you with any of your musical needs that you desire. He looks forward to meeting you and making all of your musical visions a reality!
"My son has been taking drum lessons with Joe for seven months now, and the progress has been incredible. Joe has a natural gift for making classes both engaging and entertaining, which keeps my son genuinely excited to practice. From a student’s perspective, my son finds Joe incredibly nice, patient, and considerate. He appreciates that Joe tailors the music to his specific skill level while still pushing him to improve. Joe doesn’t just focus on the songs; he ensures the technical basics are covered, from proper grip and technique to the practical side of things, like how to correctly adjust and maintain the drum set. He manages to pack a lot of learning into a short amount of time without it ever feeling overwhelming. We highly recommend him!

I’m a D1 softball player at Santa Clara University, and I’ve been around the game pretty much my whole life. Pitching is what I love, but coaching is a close second. I’m big on keeping things simple, building confidence, and actually helping pitchers understand what they’re doing — not just going through the motions. Whether it’s mechanics, mental approach, or just learning how to compete, my goal is to help every pitcher improve and enjoy the process. And I really do care about the kids I coach
"I just started working with her and she has helped me a lot. She makes me laugh and my lessons are always fun. She knows a lot about pitching, but she doesn’t make it sound confusing when she coaches me.

Hey everyone, I’m Jon! I’m a 5.0 level player and professional coach that has 3+ years of teaching experience at The Hub Alameda and locally. I’m looking to bring my expertise to help local players improve their game! As someone who worked their way up to 5.0 from the intermediate level, I am intimately familiar with all the pitfalls along the way from beginner to advanced levels and what it takes to grind to that level. My teaching philosophy has always been rooted in approaching the game as simply as possible. I emphasize simple, repeatable shot mechanics. And equally important, I take the time to explain how shot selection and strategy impact your progress just as much as shot execution! I’m 100% confident that in just a single, one hour session we can make noticeable improvement in either shot quality or a shift in strategic thinking. You can always expect each session to be tailored to your specific needs. Pacing will always be adjusted to your progress. At the end of each session I’ll send you notes for the key points we covered as well as actionable feedback. Looking forward to working together to help you improve your game to the next level! Happy to answer any questions.
"Jon was my first pickleball coach for a good part of one year. My simple goal was to strive to improve my shot skills to unlock my potential through self-awareness. Jon truly enhanced my development as a pickleball player by focusing on the fundamentals. Jon organized coaching lessons focused on repetitive drills, drills and more drills – starting with dinks, drops, resets, punch volleys, flick volleys, speed ups, deep serves, footwork, positioning, placement and court awareness. Jon’s clear explanations and demonstrations was key to learning. Jon kept me motivated, inspired and encouraged. Jon quickly adapted to my learning style with good and calm talk that effectively helped me during drills to reinforce correct form & habit. Jon observed early on that I was reaching & hitting off-balanced more than I should; afterwards I became more conscious & deliberate about moving my feet to avoid stretching. I learned about my habits that influenced the changes that made me more confident. My sessions with Jon became an enjoyable journey of self-discovery which exceeded my goal.

I bring the same precision to coaching that a pitcher applies to a game-winning pitch, blending technical expertise with patient instruction. I have several years of teaching experience and specialize in hitting mechanics, fielding fundamentals, and strategic development to advance skill and confidence. No matter what age or level, your player will gain a skill set and understanding of footwork and strategic positioning that will prove valuable for years to come.
