I build foundational mechanics so the student can eventually teach themselves. If there’s a want to get better I’ve got the knowledge to get you there. With a heavy background in hitting, pitching and defensive mechanics I can ready your son for the next level whatever level that is. A word of warning…. I give out homework for kids to work on on their own craft and I’m a firm believer that it helps. I can also shed light and give guidance on the college process as well. I am a 25-year professional basketball trainer and player development specialist, focusing on youth, HS and collegiate skills development and mental training. Workouts are custom-designed for your present level, with an emphasis on growing your skills and competitive ability to enable you to reach HS Varsity and Collegiate opportunities! I will also give you drills and workouts you can (and should) do on your own to accelerate your growth! Music is my lifelong passion, and for the past 4 years, I've been sharing that passion as an instructor. After graduating CU Boulder with a BA in Jazz Performance in 2021, I’ve been professionally performing and recording all kinds of styles: pop, rock, funk, jazz, blues, latin, folk - you name it! As a touring artist with Extra Gold and Eddie Turner & Trouble, I bring real-world experience to every lesson. With a strong background in classical and jazz theory, I offer expertise in being able to analyze and interpret most styles of music. Most of all - I always try to connect my students’ musical journey to an understanding of how they are connected to their community and the rich history of the world and its peoples.

I have 17 years of baseball experience, including pitching and playing outfield at the college level. During my career, I had the opportunity to learn from some incredible coaches who shaped the way I see the game. I worked with two former MLB hitting coaches, Tyler Holt and Brad Wilkerson, who taught me the details of hitting mechanics, approach, and preparation at a professional level. On the pitching side, I was coached by Tommy Boss, a former University of Florida standout, whose knowledge of the game and leadership on the mound helped me refine my pitching and understand the mental toughness it takes to compete. My background as a two-way player gives me a unique perspective that I now bring into coaching. I know the grind of balancing both sides of the game and the work it takes to succeed. My goal is to use that experience to help players develop their skills, grow their confidence, and maximize their potential both on and off the field.
