With over 12 years of experience in both performing and teaching, Joshua plays at a professional level and brings deep passion to every lesson. He loves guiding students through their own musical adventures—helping them build confidence, master technique, and find joy in their instrument. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to advance your skills, Joshua is here to support and inspire your growth.

With nearly two decades of playing experience and almost a decade of teaching expertise, I have cultivated a deep passion for piano and music education. My teaching journey began at various piano studios in NYC, and I've had the privilege of instructing K-8th grade group piano classes. Currently, I am the proud founder of Del Mar Piano Studio, my private teaching venture, where I passionately nurture students of all ages and skill levels. My dedication to music has not only been in teaching but also in participating and excelling in international piano competitions. I am honored to be a laureate of several prestigious competitions such as the William J. Scribner Young Artist competition and the Elite Piano Competition, experiences that ultimately led me to make my debut at the renowned Carnegie Hall in NYC. I have also taken up the responsibility of teaching piano at Define Beautiful Arts, a studio that focuses on piano education for students with learning disabilities. Currently, I am in pursuit of my Bachelors of Piano Performance at the esteemed Lamont School of Music.
