I coach players of all levels, but I especially love working with beginners and higher handicappers. There’s nothing better than watching a student improve and break their personal best. I enjoy making beginners feel comfortable and confident when they’re at the range or playing a new course for the first time, since it can be intimidating. I’ve been playing golf since age 12, reaching one of the highest levels of amateur golf in Ireland, competing alongside players like Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry, representing my province at the Interprovincial Championships, and winning my state championship. Coaching has become just as big a passion as playing. I specialize in TrackMan analysis, so we can get properly technical, recording and dissecting your swing to understand exactly what’s happening and why. Alongside that, we’ll work through playing lessons focused on course management and short game, chipping and putting, which I believe is the most important part of anyone’s game. I’m a scratch golfer with elite, tour level ball striking ability, matching pro caliber numbers in distance and precision. My swing felt super awkward, I was stiff, and honestly golf wasn’t even that fun because I had no idea what I was doing. Simon helped me fix pretty much everything from the ground up. He corrected my stance, showed me how the swing is actually supposed to feel, and gave me simple pointers that were easy to understand and apply. After developing through high-level academies and competing professionally with organizations including Inter Miami CF, Portland Timbers, and Birmingham Legion FC, Braxton transitioned from playing at the professional level to building one of South Florida’s premier private training environments.
