I am an experienced professional that loves the game of golf, has a passion for teaching the game and getting more people into the sport. Born and raised in Florida and am currently living in Citrus County. I am the acting Head Golf Professional for Heritage Pines Country Club and have been for the last 5 years. I have been teaching golf for over 12 years and have worked with all ages from 3 to 95. On a more personal level, my wife and I are big animal lovers and raise horses and donkeys on our farm in Dunnellon, FL.

With two decades on the court, I specialize in player development, focusing on building strong fundamentals, advanced skills, and basketball IQ that translate directly into game situations. My coaching style is high-energy and detail-oriented, with a balance of tough love and mentorship that earns athletes’ respect and trust. I’ve trained players from middle school through varsity level, helping them prepare for tryouts, earn roster spots, and excel in competition. Every session is designed to push athletes beyond their comfort zone while building confidence and discipline. I emphasize not only skill growth but also the character, work ethic, and accountability it takes to succeed on and off the court. I am new here. I have over 36 years of playing experience and extensive coaching and competition background. I’ve played in local leagues in Switzerland, coached professional teams in the Chinese football league, and trained students in schools and community programs. I also hold a U.S. Soccer Grassroots Coaching License.

I am a passionate coach who specializes in teaching optimal technical skills, confidence in 1v1 situations, and soccer IQ. In addition I have my Bachelor’s in Exercise Science which I integrate into the hour long sessions by adding in a clean and efficient warmup and depending on the player fitness/strength training. I tailor my sessions to your needs. I am dedicated to fostering growth and achieving individual potential, I create a positive learning environment for athletes of all levels. I have played professionally, shadowed the TB Rowdies, and worked under the S&C coach for the Colombian national team. I have a lot of encompassing experience in the world of football.

I was a member of the Venezuelan Junior National Tennis Team and a former NCAA Division 1 player. Currently, I'm ranked 5.0 in the USTA, continuing to compete and refine my skills on the court.

With a lifelong devotion to the game, I've honed my expertise over 25 years, reaching the Tour Pro level. My coaching approach blends proven techniques with personalized strategies, fostering a fun and effective learning environment. I am dedicated to helping golfers of all skill levels achieve their full potential.

Michael-Ray Pallares, the Director of Coach Training and Education for the UPT, is a former professional tennis player from the Dominican Republic. As a player, he was a two-time USTA national champion as a junior, received a full scholarship to play at the University of Alabama, ranked Top 10 in NCAA Division 1 tennis and held an ATP ranking for more than ten years while representing his country in the Davis Cup and the Central American and Caribbean Games. Michael-Ray has traveled extensively as a professional tour coach and/or sparring partner for several ATP and WTA players ranked top 10 in the world. He also served as Technical Director of the Panamanian Tennis Federation, Turkmenistan Tennis Federation and the Guam National Tennis Federation as an Expert Coach for the International Tennis Federation undertaking the Development of National Sport Structure, creating an action plan to strengthen the tennis program approved by the International Olympic Committee and Olympic Solidarity. He is now promoting the game of tennis worldwide through his foundation, One Love Tennis and the UPT coach education platform.
